Roberto Cavalli is pleased to announce that it will be launching a series of special projects during the second half of 2010 to celebrate the Maison’s 40th Anniversary.


Roberto Cavalli 40th Anniversary ‘Limited Edition'

For the Maison’s 40th Anniversary, Roberto Cavalli has created a collection of special limited edition products linked to this important milestone.

The Roberto Cavalli 40th Anniversary ‘Limited Edition’ collection comprises iconic pieces that represent the Maison’s DNA, restyled with a modern slant.

Roberto Cavalli Denim – ‘Saint Tropez’ Collection
It was in the seventies when Roberto Cavalli created the first jeans that marked a new era by revolutionsing how denim fitted, thanks to the idea of inserting a Lycra thread into the fabric to make it stretch. Today Roberto Cavalli rediscovers his passion for denim with the ‘Saint Tropez’ collection, in honour of the wonderful location of the first Roberto Cavalli boutique.



The collection comprises 15 models, defined in 3 principal versions that make the classic five-pocket denim special and unique, in perfect Cavalli style: a denim with different washing treatment for varied degrees of “lived in”, a denim entirely covered in faded sequins, mini-studs or rhinestones, and a denim in animalier-effect print drill teamed with chiffon and rips. Fits for every model are regular, skinny or flared.


2. Roberto Cavalli Scarves
The Roberto Cavalli Scarves collection is made up of soft cashmere pashminas with jaguar prints, with an iridescent plated effect. The jaguar print is one of the most significant and recognizable symbols of Cavalli style.


3. Roberto Cavalli Timewear
The new ‘Anniversary’ watch has been launched as the model that evokes the world of Roberto Cavalli Timewear. Characterised by fine materials, this watch is destined to become a benchmark for the panorama of ‘haute de gamme’ timepieces. The dial has a python-effect ‘guilloche’ engraving, while the strap is in real python skin with ‘deployant’ buckle. The ‘Anniversary’ model comes in a limited edition of 999 pieces, and it’s available in black and brown colours. A watch that meets the needs of clients looking for perfection in details.

The new fragrance steeps your skin in the scent of Cavalli style: wild, luxurious and glamorous. The top notes leave an exotic fruity freshness on your skin, rich in Raspberry lightened by a hint of crunchy Green Apple and vibrant Pink Pepper.

The glamorous heart reveals itself with a fascinating flowery bouquet: opulent Orange Blossom, sunny Jasmine and delicate Heliotrope.

The base notes are an intensely sensual embrace of precious Cedar Wood wrapped in the seductive warmth of Patchouli and Vanilla. A fragrance for a savage queen, an icon of luxury, a feline of extraordinary elegance. Quite simply… a Cavalli woman!

5. Roberto Cavalli Vodka
The appeal, seduction and quintessence of pure femininity. Cavalli Vodka is all this. Water and fire merge in a single element … ‘Fashion on the Rocks!’.

A new, totally hand-decorated bottle has been created to mark the Maison’s 40th Anniversary. The Maison’s symbolic snake that has wrapped around the Cavalli Vodka bottle since its birth, is embellished with pure gold paint. The bottle top becomes a precious seal in pure gold galvanised brass and bears the word ‘Anniversary’. The new bottle comes in a 3-litre and 6-litre version.



Roberto Cavalli 40th Anniversary Logo

The corporate logo has been transformed and evolved for the 40th Anniversary of the House of Cavalli. It is the graphic interpretation of 40 years of fashion, and an emblem of the Cavalli style and spirit.

The heraldic RC logo is set inside the number zero, which represents perfection.

The digits making up the symbol create another emblem, rich in meaning for Roberto Cavalli - that of Venus, who in mythology represents Aphrodite, goddess of beauty and love. She celebrates Roberto Cavalli’s love of women and all the passion that this designer has dedicated to them for 40 years, enhancing their femininity and sensuality.


Roberto Cavalli Eyewear - ‘Dea’ collection

Inspired by the Occhio degli Dei (Eye of the Gods) model - the iconic style from the first Roberto Cavalli Eyewear collection by Marcolin – Dea (Goddess) is the perfect symbiosis between continuity, creativity and technology, thanks to a blend of different materials that celebrate the traditional aesthetic language of the brand.

The etched mask front, an innovative technique in the world of eyewear, displays the artisan skill from which this commemorative style was born. Elegant, exclusive details frame the front, recalling the fashion designer’s original inspiration: two edges in snakeskin print leather.

The exclusivity of the anniversary model is highlighted by a discreet ‘Special Edition’ label and the sequential numbering of the limited series of 2,000 items.
